Werna As-New Polisher and Buffer

This is an as-new waxer and polisher still in original box. We moved from a house with wooden floors and no longer have need of it.
The Werna polisher / buffer is based on the Hoover and Electrolux twin head polishers that were available many years ago. Its basic function is an electric motor with 2 rotating brushes that take out the 'elbow grease' from getting on your hands & knees, working up a sweat and getting a bad back!
It is designed to clean, scrub, polish, wax and buff a wide variety of surfaces including wooden floor boards, tiles, brick, concrete, vinyl and carpet.
In addition to enhancing the appearance of your floor, waxing, polishing, buffing & scrubbing helps protect against cracking, moisture, and dirt.
The current RRP is $219.
The machine can be used to clean grout, however results will vary. The scrubbing brushes are great for cleaning hard to reach dirt on grout. Results will vary depending on the existing condition of the grout, the depth of the grout and the chemicals that you use. You can use water alone or with any suitable cleaning product. The unit does away with the physical strain of cleaning with your hands.
The machine works on rough/ceramic floor tiles. The scrubbing brushes and scouring pads are both suited for cleaning ceramic floor tiles. Rougher tiles are best cleaned with the scrubbing brushes. Results on floor tiles will vary depending mainly on the existing condition of the tiles and also on the nature of the dirt. The rotating scrubbing brushes will agitate and lift the dirt from the surface within minutes, doing away with the laborious task of getting down on your hands and knees to clean and scrub.
The machine may be used to clean porcelain tiles. The scrubbing brushes can both be used to clean porcelain tiles. Once the tiles are mopped dry, the soft buffing pads and cleaning cloths can be used to get rid of residual streaks or water stains and bring your porcelain floors to their original lustre.
To wax and polish dull wooden floors, first clean the floor thoroughly with a vacuum cleaner. Apply a thin, even layer of polish to the floor. The scrubbing brushes can be used for applying liquid wax whereas a cloth applicator would be more suited to applying paste wax. Allow the wax to dry thoroughly or according to the manufacturer?s instructions. Attach the buffing pads over the scrubbing brushes. With the handle upright stand the polisher on a newly waxed surface. Start where the polish was first applied and guide the polisher slowly over the floor. Only gentle pressure is required. A quick lustre can be given to old polished wooden surfaces simply by running the polisher, with the buffing pads in situ, over the dull area for a few moments.
